Cinderella comes to Meeker

MEEKER I “Disney’s Cinderella Kids,” a musical production featuring local talent, will be presented at Meeker High School Nov. 4-5. The Friday, Nov. 4 performance will be at 6 p.m. Two performances are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5; a matinee performance at 3 p.m. and an evening performance at 6 p.m.
Director Laurie Zellers and stage manager Kim Kummer, their production crew and more than 40 Meeker students have been practicing and planning for this production for several months. Lila Klinglesmith, who will play Cinderella, and Trapper Merrifield, who will play Prince Charming, earned their roles in the cast by successfully auditioning  in late August. “Disney’s Cinderella Kids,” is the second annual Center Stage Production to be sponsored by ERBM Recreation and Park District.
Tickets are $6 for all ages. You can receive a price break by purchasing five tickets for $25. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Meeker Recreation Center, 101 Ute Rd., or at the door.
