The Rio Blanco County Board of Commissioners will be considering a budget supplemental resolution on December 12, 2016, 11:00 a.m. Rio Blanco County Justice Center, 455 Main Street, Courtroom A, Meeker, Colorado.
The proposed resolution is for the purpose of appropriating sums of money to defray expenses in excess of amounts budgeted for the 2016 budget year in the following funds: General Fund, Public Health Agency Fund, Use Tax Fund, and Solid Waste Landfill Fund. The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to approve Technical Revision Application No. 70 (TR-70) for the Deserado Mine (Permit No. C-1981-018), submitted by Blue Mountain Energy, Inc. Blue Mountain Energy, Inc. has submitted an application for a Technical Revision, TR-70. The revision proposes to install a new mine dewatering system for the B-Seam workings. The proposal includes pumping water from the workings through an existing service hole. The water will enter a series of treatment ponds before discharging into a natural drainage. The proposed dewatering system is along the existing access road to the train loadout. The revision proposes to disturb 9.85 acres of land.
The Deserado Mine is a/an underground coal mine located in Moffat, Rio Blanco County, approximately 7 miles NE of Rangely, Colorado. Coal interest is federal, and the surface affected is federal and private land. The permit area encompasses approximately 13,645.01 acres.
This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34#33#101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
Copies of the proposed decision, including stipulations, are on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the proposed decision. Such request must be made within ten (10) days of the initial publication of this notice, must be in writing, and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and the objections to the proposed decision.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District (“ERBM”) is inviting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the renovation and improvement of the ERBM Maintenance Building, located at 101 Ute Rd. in Meeker, Colorado.

This is a guaranteed maximum price construction project. The project is comprised of renovation improvements to the ERBM Maintenance Building, including but not limited to: interior and exterior demo, framing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, painting, general finish work in accordance with overall site enhancement design plans.
The administration of the Project will be overseen by the Owner in coordination with contracted design consultant.
