With the amount of snow that fell on the Flat Tops this winter clearing a couple of the county’s highest roads took a little longer than usual. Rio Blanco County Road and Bridge Operator Steven Brickey took pictures of the process of cutting through remaining snowdrifts at Ripple Creek and Meadow Lake last week. Even with this week’s expected hot and dry temperatures, be prepared for mud and even some snow still possible in the high country.
