On Sunday, April 12 Rio Blanco County Historical Society will present “Colorful Characters of RBC,” a fun character sketch of six colorful personalities who touched Rio Blanco County in days gone by: Teddy Roosevelt, Calamity Jane, Zane Grey, Eleanor Roosevelt, Chief Colorow and movie star, Buddy Roosevelt (Kenneth Sanderson). The luncheon is at 1 p.m. You are welcome to bring salad or dessert to share. RBCHS Board will provide cold cuts and homemade rolls. At 1:45 p.m. will be a brief business meeting, and from 2-3 p.m. will be an historical presentation. The venue will be the Old West Heritage Culture Center at 517 Park Ave. next door to the museum complex. Everyone is welcome.
