Piceance Mustang Auction April 28-29
MEEKER | Don’t miss your chance to bid on a Piceance mustang during Meeker Mustang Makeover’s pick-up day event. Public viewing of the horses up for adoption will be from 12 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 28 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29. The silent auction will follow between 3 and 3:30 p.m. with bids awarded at 3:30 p.m.
Clean up Meeker trail system with MAMBA April 29-30
MEEKER | All ages are welcome to volunteer as we celebrate Trails Day and prepare the Meeker trails for summer hiking and biking. Please join the Meeker Area Mountain Bike Association on Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and/or Sunday, April 30 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ute Park trailhead on Hill Street. Afterward, we will meet at Smoking River Brewing Co. Please bring water, sunscreen, gloves and eye protection. ERBM and BLM will provide tools.

Clerk and Recorder’s office closure
MEEKER | The Meeker and Rangely Clerk and Recorder and Motor Vehicle offices will be closed May 3 and 4 for mandatory election training. Our offices will be open again on May 5 for regular business hours. Please plan ahead!

Volunteer attorneys will answer questions and explain the process and procedure for all areas of Colorado civil law, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders. Lions Club centennial and park dedication May 13
MEEKER | The Meeker Lions Club is celebrating 100 years of service this year with an anniversary celebration and park dedication on Saturday, May 13 at 4 p.m. Free lunch/dinner provided. At the Park on 6th and Cleveland (admin building).
Pioneers Association to host Country Barn Dance June 3
RBC | Howdy RBC! Get ready to chow down on some home cookin’. The menu for the RBC Pioneers dinner/dance will be roast beef, chicken quarters, mashed taters and gravy, mixed veggies, green salad, rolls and a dessert bar. Bring your date and your appetite.
