Historical Society meeting Sunday, Aug. 13
MEEKER | The quarterly gathering of the Rio Blanco County Historical Society is this Sunday, Aug. 13 at 1 p.m. at Town Park. Please bring something to share or a decorated box lunch for two to be auctioned off. Extras will be brought just in case. Cookies, lemonade and water will also be served. Come on down!
Meeker Christian Community Book Club to meet Aug. 14
MEEKER | The Meeker Christian Community Book Club will meet on Monday, Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. to discuss the first half (four chapters) of the book “Love Wins” by Rob Bell at St. James Episcopal Church. Free rifle sight-in event Aug. 19
MEEKER | The Meeker Sportsman’s Club, at 2553 Rio Blanco County Road 11 (Sulphur Creek), will be hosting a free Rifle Sight-in event on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Targets, rests, hearing protection and spotters will be provided.
