Meeker Library Book Club

MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library book club is reading “The House in the Cerulean Sea” by T.J. Klune. We will meet to discuss the books at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library if you would like to join in the fun. New members are always welcome!

LDS conference in Craig Sept. 7-8

RBC | The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold a two-day local conference on Sept. 7-8, 2024. Meetings will take place at the Craig chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1295 W. 9th St., and are open to anyone interested in learning more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Speakers will include church leaders from the Vernal Temple, the Denver South Mission area, and local officials from the Craig Stake. The session on Saturday, Sept. 7, for adults will be held from 5-7 p.m., and the session for all ages will be on Sunday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon. Visitors are welcome.

Public notice of accreditation review at CNCC 

MEEKER | The Colorado Northwestern Community College wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the library on the second floor of the Academic Building located at the Craig Campus 2801 W 9 th St. Written comments are also welcome and should be submitted to the ACEN via email at [email protected] or to the ACEN office: Attn: Accreditation Services,  Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing 3390 Peachtree Rd NE, Suite 1400, Atlanta GA, 30326.
