Community dinner TONIGHT March 21
MEEKER | Community Dinner/Breaking Bread will be held March 21 at Elbert Hall, White River Methodist Church, 809 Park Ave. 5:30-6:30 pm. The UMC/Episcopal Team will be preparing the meal and serving. No charge. The community is invited.
Meeker Library book club
MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library book club is reading Small Things Like These and So Late in the Day. Both books are written by Claire Keegan. We will meet to discuss the books at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, April 8, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library if you would like to join in the fun. New members are always welcome.

MEEKER | The Holy Week schedule for White River Methodist Church is as follows: March 25-30 – Open House of Prayer, Monday-Saturday, 6-6; March 24 – Palm Sunday with Children’s Processional; March 29 – Stations of the Cross, Downtown at the clock at noon; Good Friday Service, Sanctuary at 6 p.m.; March 31– Community Easter Sunrise Service at 6:45 a.m. at the Church at Meeker (1032 Jennifer Dr.) followed by community breakfast; Easter Celebration, Sanctuary at 10 a.m.
Glow in the dark egg hunt March 22 in Rangely
RANGELY | Join us in Elk’s Park to hunt for eggs in the dark March 22 at 8:45 p.m. Ages six years and older; younger than six are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $10 per participant. Call the Rangely Rec Center to register, 970-675-8211. Register by March 20.
WRBM Easter egg hunt March 28
RANGELY | Come enjoy a fun way of hunting Easter eggs March 28, 2024 5:30 p.m. SHARP at Rangely Rec Center.You’ll have a challenge looking for eggs in the pool. We will section the swimming pool off into age groups. There will be prizes for the golden eggs found, so “hop” on in and don’t forget to bring a waterproof bag to collect your findings. All children are welcome, and the cost is FREE with a donation to the Rangely Public Schools Backpack program. Items for donation include, but are not limited to, individual prepackaged items (granola bars, fruit snacks, oatmeal, cup-o-noodles, etc.) If you or anyone in your household is not feeling well, please stay home.
Meeker Karate members test for black belts April 5
Meeker | Several participants of the Meeker Karate Club program will be testing for their black belts on Friday, April 5 at 11 a.m. at the Admin Building.
