Archery practice shoots start Nov. 7
MEEKER | The Meeker Sportsman’s Club is hosting indoor archery practice shoots beginning Thursday, Nov. 7 from 6-8 p.m. through the winter (except Thanksgiving) in the 4-H building at the RBC Fairgrounds. Practice and have some fun! Bring your own bow, arrows, paper target and pins. Targets may be available for purchase. $10 per person for non-members of the Meeker Sportsman’s Club, $5 per person for members. Kids 16 and under shoot free. Veterans Day assembly at BMS
MEEKER | All local veterans and their families are invited to the annual Veterans Day assembly at Barone Middle School in the gymnasium. The assembly includes a luncheon, recognition of local veterans, student music performances and a local veteran keynote speech. Monday, Nov. 11. Luncheon at 11:50 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. assembly. Presented by the Barone Middle School student council.

MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library book club is reading “Brave the Wild River” by Melissa L. Sevigny. We will meet to discuss the books at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library if you would like to join in the fun.
