LDS conference in Northwest Colorado March 4-5
Meeker | The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold a local conference in Northwest Colorado on March 4-5, 2023. Meetings will be held in the Craig chapel at 1295 W 9th St, and are open to anyone who would like to know more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Speakers will include church leaders serving in the Vernal Temple, the Denver South mission area, and local church officials of the Craig Stake. The Saturday session for adults will be from 6-8 p.m. and the Sunday session for all ages will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Following the Sunday general session, there will be a devotional for youth ages 11-18 and their parents.
Old Timers planning meeting
Meeker | Get ready Rio Blanco County people, it’s almost here. The first meeting of the Old Timers to plan the 2023 event will be on March 6 at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Heritage Cultural Center, 517 Park Ave.
Upcoming Rio Blanco County free legal clinic
Meeker | A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney will take place Wednesday March 8, 2023 from 2-5 p.m.. Volunteer attorneys will answer questions and explain the process and procedure for all areas of Colorado civil law, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues and civil protection orders. Gun and knife show in Vernal
VERNAL | The 13th annual gun and knife show in Vernal, Utah, will be March 10-11 at the Uintah Conference Center, 313 E. 200 South. Open to the public, $5 daily admission, from 12-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Dealer tables are $50 for guns, knives and related items only. This is a fundraiser for the Buckskin Hills Shooting Area presented by the Friends of Buckskin Hills. Library book club March 13
