MEEKER | Since April 1, 2023, falls on a Saturday, the deadline for Freeman E. Fairfield semi-annual grant applications will be 5 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2023. Applications may be mailed to P.O. Box 2302, Meeker CO 81641 or delivered to Diane Dunham, 438 E Market. Mailed applications must be received, not postmarked April 3, 2023.

Meeker | The next MAMBA (Meeker Area Mountain Biking Association) meeting will be held at Meeker Town Hall, second floor, on April 3 at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome and everyone is invited.
Rangely pool Easter egg hunt April 6
RANGELY | Come enjoy a fun way of hunting Easter eggs at the Rangely Rec Center pool. Sections for each age group, and prizes for golden eggs found! “Hop” on in and don’t forget to bring a waterproof bag to collect your findings. The event will be April 6 at 5:30 p.m. sharp. All children are welcome and cost is FREE with a donation to the Rangely Public Schools Backpack program. Items for donation can include, but are not limited to, individual prepackaged items (granola bars, fruit snacks, oatmeal, Cup-O-Noodles, etc.)

Wagon Wheel OHV meeting April 12
MEEKER | The April meeting for the Wagon Wheel OHV Club has been changed from April 5 to April 12 at 7 p.m. at Kilowatt Korner (233 Sixth St.). Officer elections, moving forward with the Poker Run and a recipient for the scholarship will discussed at this meeting.
Free legal clinic April 12
RBC | A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney will be held at the Meeker Library Wednesday, April 12 from 2-5 p.m. Volunteer attorneys will answer questions and explain the process and procedure for all areas of Colorado civil law, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders. Date set for Pioneers event
RBC | Good news, RBC people! Dave Main and Friends will be providing musical accompaniment for dancing and listening pleasure at the RBC Pioneers “Country Barn Dance.” The event will be June 3 at the Freeman Fairfield Center (200 Main St.). Registration is open to anyone with ties to Rio Blanco County. Registration forms will be available at the Meeker and Rangely Chambers of Commerce offices, and online registration will be available soon at: rbcpioneers.org. The next planning committee meeting will be April 3 at the Cultural Heritage Center, 517 Park, 6 p.m.
