VACCINE CLINICS
The COVID-19 vaccine is now available for those ages 12 and up in Rio Blanco County. Walk-in clinics are available with no appointment needed:
In Meeker, the walk-in clinic is at the Fairfield Center, 200 Main Street. The Moderna vaccine for ages 18 and up is available Thursdays from 12 to 5:30 p.m. The Pfizer vaccine for ages 12 and up is available Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m. Call 970-878-9520 with any questions.
In Rangely, the walk-in clinic is at 101 East Main Street across from the library. Both Moderna (18 and up) and Pfizer (12 and up) vaccines are available Thursdays from 12 to 5:30 p.m. Call 970-878-9525 with questions.
Pioneers Medical Center is currently offering walk-in clinics for Johnson and Johnson and Moderna vaccines Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
TESTING
Testing for COVID-19 is recommended for all symptomatic individuals and all exposed to a known case. If you have no symptoms, but have been exposed, it is advised to test 5-7 days after your last known exposure, or as soon as possible after you begin to develop symptoms.
