When the teams came back in the third quarter, the Cowboys once again came onto the field with intensity putting up the first score but missing the PAT; after Connor Blunt caused a fumble and Judd Harvey recovered it. The Demons then marched down the field to answer the score and the PAT was blocked by Cade Blunt. Score tied again at 20 all.
The Demons and Cowboys went back and forth, each making mistakes that the other capitalized on and scored. The Demons had two interceptions and some very well placed passes that led them to a 41-29 win.

Elijah LeBlanc led the defense with 10 tackles, while Dagon Dade and Connor each had six. Chase Callahan and Harvey each finished the evening with a sack or tackle for loss.
“I thought we played a really good football game the other night,” commented head coach Andy Coryell, “Buena Vista just made a few more plays down the stretch than we did, and it won’t get any easier this Friday.”
This week the Cowboys face another strong team, Gunnison. Game time is 6 p.m. Gunnison also has a two loss record and is in the hunt for a league title.
