The Meeker Herald ~ 125 years ago
Last Tuesday was the 139th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns, the Scotch poet, and Meeker’s Caledonian Club donned their kilts, blew the soul stirring bagpipe, danced Highland flings and otherwise observed the event in a befitting manner.
Messrs. R. Oldland, A. B. Critchlow, Charles Dickenson, Hugh Torrence and James L. McHatton are out in Denver this week attending the stockgrowers’ convention.
