• It is more important to be consistent with the truth than to be consistent with your past self.
• District court was in session at Vernal last week, says the Express, and the judge and attorneys all got full of Vernal “booze,” but the judge was equal to the occasion — he adjourned court to give all a chance to sober up. Utah “tanglefoot” must be very fiery when it will knock out a Mormon judge.
• All of the big cattle outfits in northeastern Wyoming now emply wolfers or cowboys whose sole duty is to hunt and trap wolves and coyotes.

This snow landmark is formed in a depression on the north side of LO7 mountain, near the top. Quite a snow mass accumulates during the long winter; it gradually disappears with the advent of warm weather, and is generally gone by the first of June.

• If you were planning an excursion to Spring Cave, don’t bother. Tom Tucker reports that the cave is completely flooded. Tom says that on June 1, water in the cave was 84 feet above flood stage and by June 4 it had risen to 96 feet. Just another 13 feet, Tom reports, and water will gush out of the cave. If it does spurt out of the cave, Tucker claims, it will be the first time it has done that in at least 20 years.
