Western Region Director for the Colorado National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO), Brad Flanagan presented the Rio Blanco County communication center team with the “Colorado NENA/APCO 2022 Communications/9-1-1 Center of the Year” award last week at their annual Christmas meeting.
This award is presented to the Communications/9-1-1 Center representing the entire state of Colorado that has exemplified outstanding professionalism, leadership and innovation to the community it serves, as well as to its region and state. This may be demonstrated by its contribution to the advancement of Public Safety Communications, including technology, management and training of staff.
