Chevron Operations Assistant Vickie Kurrasch presented a $4,000 check to Rio Blanco County Sheriff Anthony Mazolla on Feb, 28. Operations Superintendent Nick Moschetti had notified Sheriff Mazzola that Chevron wanted to donate the money to help the Sheriff’s Office with serving the Rangely community. The money will go to purchase radios used during the wildland fire season to help coordinate with Federal agencies.
“Chevron has always been a great neighbor and supports this community in many ways,” Mazzola said via email.
