Douglas Pass repairs under way

RANGELY I The Colorado Department of Transportation will repair two sections of damage to the shoulder on SH 139 on Douglas Pass. The shoulder erosion is in the northbound lane near mile marker 35 (35 miles north of I-70). The work, contracted to GSI (Geotechnical Services, Inc.) for $73,340, will involve drilling and placing stabilization rods into the hillside immediately below the roadway.
