RANGELY | In the first contested election in several years, Alan Ducey has won the Rangely district seat on the Moon Lake Electric Association’s board of directors. Ducey, the owner and operator of Ducey Electric, Inc., will replace incumbent Brad Casto, who served on the board since 2010.
The Moon Lake board comprises seven members from seven districts. Responsibilities include interacting with members, understanding the cooperative’s business policies, establishing goals for the manager, reviewing financial matters and making financial decisions, among others.
Rangely residents Sam Tolley and Tim Webber also ran for the Moon Lake board seat.
