Employers invited to Workman’s Comp seminar

MEEKER I All employers in the Meeker area are invited to attend and learn about premium cost containment, reducing premiums and safety/Worker’s Compensation at no cost.

Sponsored by the Colorado Workforce Center, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and the American Job Center, the free seminar will be held Sept. 15 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Kilowatt Corner meeting room at the White River Electric Association building at 233 Sixth St. in Meeker.
All public and private employers in Colorado, with limited exceptions, must provide worker’s compensation coverage for their employees if one or more full or part-time persons are employed.
This is part of the Business Education Series and is brought to the business owners by the Colorado Workforce Center.
