Harpole of Mercator Energy, spoke about free markets and natural gas, as the guest speaker of the annual Meeker Energy Information Expo last Thursday in Meeker. “We experienced our largest attendance number during the lunch presentation,” Meeker chamber director Katelin Cook said. “I think our community realizes the importance the energy industry has on our economy and they want to learn more. This event was a great way for our community members to build relationships with industry representatives, which will only have a positive impact on future development and exploration.”
