FBLA raises March of Dimes funding

RANGELY I The month of November was Prematurity Awareness Month. Rangely High School’s FBLA chapter held a “No Shave November” competition to raise money for the March of Dimes.

The March of Dimes is an organization dedicated to raising money and awareness for families with premature babies.
Each of the four RHS teams received donations and pledges from local businesses, students, and citizens.
Team Fortunato, which consisted of Paul Fortunato, Crandal Mergelman and McKenzie Webber, was announced victorious. The team members raised more than $200 while the total amount raised between the four teams and the community was $642.13.
The following businesses helped support the competition: Giovanni’s Italian Grill, WPX, Napa Auto, Country Cafe, White River Market, W.C Striegel, Sweetbriar, The Salon, Jade Lion and the West End Drive-In. The students, staff and community members also supported the competition.
