UPDATE as of 4:04 p.m.: According to authorities, the fire has been contained and mop-up is underway.
Crews are responding to a fire at the top of 7th St. near the water tower in Meeker. Flames are visible for several blocks, and there are reports power lines are in danger.
Residents are asked to stay away from the area at the top of 7th and 8th streets to allow fire trucks to maneuver.
