The Rangely Middle School harriers raced this weekend at the VIX park in New Castle. The course was run on grass, pavement and some single track. The team was made up of Taya Wren, Alec Gillard and Tavan Morgan.
Wren took off fast and was able to establish a good position which she was able to hold onto. She took first place with a time of 12:30. Gillard was next in line with a time of 14:58. Morgan finished right behind him with a 15:08.
The middle school team will race next weekend in Meeker on Saturday.
