Flagpole repairs at Highland Cemetery  

MEEKER | Observant locals may have noticed that the large flag at the cemetery in Meeker has been taken down in the last week. According to cemetery staff, the flagpole “needs an overhaul” and the flag had to be brought down for safety reasons because of how windy it gets at the cemetery. Repairs are expected to take two weeks or longer depending on when the Denver-based company can schedule a time to come do the work.
