MEEKER | The Meeker Community Food Bank is here to help those in our community in need. The Food Bank is meant to be a temporary relief for families and individuals going through tough times. Unfortunately, in this time, we have been helping more families and individuals than average times!
With that being said, we really could use some extra help. We need food donations such as: meat items (beef, chicken, pork, professionally processed wild game, etc.). If anyone in the community has an excess of fresh eggs, that would be a bonus.
Monetary donations are also welcomed. We can then shop for items that are generally not donated. Also, we can purchase certificates to be used at Watt’s Ranch Market for fresh items not available at the Food Bank.
To donate any of those items mentioned, contact White River Methodist Church at 970-878-5904. Leave a message with return contact information and we would be more than happy to call you back.
Remember, this is a community food bank. White River Methodist Church is just where it is located. We welcome any of the churches and other local organizations to volunteer their time if possible.
