The Cowboys scrimmaged against the Moffat County Bulldogs Saturday. Head coach Andy Coryell said that “it went pretty well, there were some real bright spots, and showed us some things that need improvement.” Senior Connor Blunt said that he is “looking forward to the season, it is always good to have these scrimmages at the beginning of the season and he is hoping the team can stay healthy and go deep into the playoffs.” The Cowboys open up their season with a league game against North Fork on Friday in Hotchkiss.
