RBC I Parenting the Love and Logic Way is a free class that will be offered in Craig beginning Oct. 1.
Love and Logic is a philosophy founded in 1977 by Jim Fay and Foster W. Cline, M.D. Love and Logic provides simple and practical techniques to help parents with kids of all ages raise responsible kids, have more fun in their role and easily and immediately change their children’s behavior. Moffat County Department of Social Services and Connections 4 Kids, the early childhood council that serves Rio Blanco and Moffat counties, are offering the six-week class. Charity Resier and Michelle Balleck will facilitate the class. The class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays from Oct. 1 to Nov. 5 at The Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave., in Craig. There will be an optional presentation of “Keys to Helping Kids Cope with Divorce” on Nov. 12. The class is offered free of charge to parents and educators of children of all ages. Educators who attend the class can receive continuing education hours. Complimentary refreshments and on-site child care are also available.
