The second annual Freedom March took place on Thursday, June 24 at Rangely’s Hefley and Elks Park. The Tolley and Huitt families began the new Rangely tradition in 2020, honoring veterans, current service members, and first responders. The crowd gathered at the Hefley Park Veteran Memorial and after some words by Sam Tolley and outgoing CNCC President Ron Granger, they marched behind the first responders, veterans, and service members south on Stanolind Avenue to Elks Park. A free barbecue for everyone was enjoyed by the attendees. | ROXIE FROMANG PHOTOS
