Moon Lake Electric Association and Deserado Mine Blue Mountain Energy on behalf of Deseret Power Electric Cooperative took part in Cooperative Service Day. Three community service projects were completed around Rangely Oct. 10, Cooperative Service Day which was a partnership between Moon Lake Electric Association and Utah’s Rural Electric Cooperative Association (URECA) as well as several other coops throughout the state of Utah. One project was mowing, weedeating and picking up trash on the north side of the east entrance to the Town of Rangely. The second project was more mowing and landscaping above the retaining wall on South White Avenue and power washing and scraping old paint off the concrete retaining wall. The Town of Rangely has hired a muralist to update the retaining wall on South White Avenue.
