Meeker High School students have once again proven they have big ideas. In a continuation of last year’s Empty Bowls success, sophomores Gracie Cravens and Kayla Scott spearheaded this years event taking place on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023. The goal was to raise $2,000 to donate to the Pioneers Medical Center Meals on Wheels program. Having the students in the art program make 243 bowls, the culinary arts program preparing a soup kitchen style meal, and having FCCLA help serve the night was a huge success. Meeker High School’s FCCLA, art department, and family and consumer science program were pleased to donate $2,800 to the Meals on Wheels program. | COURTESY PHOTOS
