Fifth-graders Dalton Dembowski and Justin Rusher fold the flag after school with help from Parkview Elementary School Principal Mike Kruger. Along with raising and lowering the flag each day, fifth-graders are helping to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and taking turns as hallway monitors, responsibilities that Kruger says develop leadership and set positive examples for younger children.
