MEEKER | The Fourth of July is a busy time of year for Meeker. Bringing in new and old faces to its festivities,  Meeker Range Call provides an old-fashioned good time.

This year’s Range Call Events start Tuesday, July 3 and end Saturday, July 7. In order to participate in most events, you must have a wrist band. As Meeker locals have come to learn, getting your wrist bands before all the fun begins is the right way to do it.

The biggest event for Range Call is the concert. This year Clint Black will play on Saturday, July 7 at 7 p.m. at the RBC Fairgrounds. To get into the concert, as well as the rest of the festivities, a wrist band is required.

There are a limited amount of wrist bands still available for purchase. Range Call is encouraging all people planning on attending to purchase their wrist bands as soon as possible. If you have guests coming for the 2018 Range Call festivities, purchase their wrist bands now.

Once the wrist bands are gone, they are gone. Wrist bands are $40 for general admission, $30 for seniors 55+ and veterans (ID required at gate), $35 for kids 6-12, kids 5 and under are free. Reserved and VIP ticket sales are sold out.

If wrist bands are not purchased before July 3, tickets will be an additional $5 at the concert gate making single concert tickets $40 or $45 for general admission. You can purchase other individual event tickets at each event gate for $10.

You can pick up wrist bands around Meeker at Flat Tops Fuel, the Meeker Chamber of Commerce, and LAI. If you are not able to pick tickets up in town, you can get wrist bands online at https://meekerrangecall.com/. If ordered online, wrist bands will be available for pick up at event gates.

See the ad on page 12A of the 6/14 paper for more info.
