The “Skate on the Square” synthetic surface rink has been installed for the winter months over the basketball court between the courthouse and the justice center and will be part of the Meeker Meeker – Mistletoe Magic on Main festivities on Saturday, Dec. 7. The surface is suitable for ice skates or roller skates. The project was purchased by the Uplift Meeker Main Street Program with funding from Main Street grants and the Town of Meeker, and permission from the county to use the court space.
