RBC | Rangely resident Roy Gilbert, 42, entered a guilty plea for three counts of Class 4 felony sexual assault on a child under the age of 15 in a May 17 court hearing. The remainder of the charges filed against him were dismissed as part of the plea agreement. Gilbert was arrested by the Rangely Police Department in July 2021. According to 9th Judicial District Judge Anne Norrdin, the sentence for each charge carries an average sentence of 2-6 years. A sentencing date is scheduled for July 19
