HOME OF: Dirck and Sondra Garcia

Longtime Meeker residents Dirck and Sondra Garcia are this week’s “home of” honorees. “Dirck was born and raised in Meeker. His parents lived here soon after their marriage. I moved here with my family when I was 12 years old and started the seventh grade in the Meeker schools. We will celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary on Oct. 28,” Sondra explained.
Dirck has been retired for nearly two years from the Colorado Department of Transportation.…
