The Rangely Panthers soccer team loaded the bus to go to Colorado Rocky Mountain School (CRMS) last Monday, the day after Rowdy Worm which is an after-prom gathering for the students.
There were some tired players but as they unloaded their enthusiasm picked up as they changed and stretched to warm up for the game. They continued to work hard at passing and to try to score.
Freshman Norrah Patch followed through with a shot and crashed the net to come up with a goal. The lady Panthers fought hard against CRMS but came up short to get the win. The girls were tired but continued to give 100% at practice and at the games. The lady Panthers will have their last two home games this week on Wednesday, April 24 against Moffat County at 4 p.m. and on Friday against Vail Christian at 4 p.m.
