MHS choir students recently auditioned and several were selected to participate in the Adams State Top of the Nation Honor Choir Festival on Feb. 14-16. They spent 2-1/2 days working with college music and voice professors in a large mixed choir of about 120 students. They enjoyed singing in a fully balanced choir setting and also had the opportunity to visit one on one with the directors and discover what this smaller college has to offer in the way of preparing students for various careers in music for both urban and rural specializations.
