MEEKER I Acting President Hayden Garcia called the July 20 meeting to order at 6:09 p.m. Pearl North Dodd led the group in pledges. Joslin Spieth gave the council report. The last council meeting was Meeker and Rangely councils combined and they discussed the Barnyard Olympics. Fair is Aug. 2-7. Sign Up Genius is where you sign up for all indoor project interviews as well as Woolgrowers and Premier Exhibitor contests. Indoor record books are due at your interview with your project. Livestock, dog and horse record books are due Sept. 1. The new livestock rules have been sent out and are on the county’s website. 4-H members should thank their buyers with a gift at the livestock sale to show appreciation for them buying your animal. The group voted to skip the August meeting and enjoy fair. In September the group is going to have a pizza party and give out awards to two outstanding members selected by leaders and their peers! The group’s next meeting will be Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. in the OEH. The meeting was adjourned at 6:51 p.m.
