MEEKER | Over the last two meetings, the It’s Showtime 4-H Club has been very active. In November, we held officer elections in conjunction with the Friendsgiving celebration.
Our officers for the year are: President Cienna Rogers, Vice President Teagan Smith, Secretary Copen Smith, Treasurer Hattie Brennan, Reporter Taylor Bain-Kirkpatrick, Pledge leaders Trevor Gould, Lee Kirkpatrick. Our club leaders are Trina Kennedy, Brittani Chintala and Jamie Rogers.
In our December meeting, we worked on our Community Pride Project by writing Christmas and holiday cards to residents of the Walbridge Wing to help spread kindness and cheer during the holiday season.
At our January meeting, we played an icebreaker and discussed upcoming dates. Several club members gave presentations on beef breeds, proper pig skin care, byproducts of a pig, beef DNA samples, and how to break lambs and goats.
