MEEKER | Tatumn Kennedy, a biosystems engineering: environment and natural resources major, from Meeker, Colorado was selected as an Oklahoma State University Senior of Significance for the 2025-2026 academic year by the OSU Alumni Association.
While a student at OSU, Kennedy found a home in biosystems engineering and served on the Ferguson College of Agriculture Student Council. She had the opportunity to study aboard in Peru, which opened her eyes to new cultures, perspectives and possibilities. She has participated and helped continue the tradition of America’s Greatest Homecoming™. Kennedy has also been a McKnight Scholar and served as a mentor for this program in recent years.
After graduation, she plans to continue her education at OSU in pursuit of a master’s degree in biosystems engineering with a focus in water resource management.
Kennedy is being celebrated by BBA Water Consultants as an event sponsor.
The OSU Seniors of Significance Award recognizes students who truly exemplify and embody the Cowboy Code, which honors the University’s land-grant mission and commends academic achievements, character and personal impact. The 51 students represent the top one percent of seniors, including all five OSU undergraduate academic colleges.
