MEEKER | The 4-and-13 lady Cowboys went 1-2 on the weekend, securing a win over Cedaredge on Saturday. All three games were the second for the year as the season begins to wind down towards the postseason.
Thursday the Little Snake Rattlers took the win, 51-39.
Friday, after a long road trip to Gunnison, the Cowboys fell 32-46.
In the previous matchup, Cedaredge won by 20 points, but they couldn’t get it done twice on the Cowboys. The final score of 45-37, it was a big win for Meeker.
This week the Cowboys will host two games, Friday Aspen will come to Meeker for the teams’ second matchup of a girls only game, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with JV. Saturday North Fork comes to town for girls and boys basketball, JV begins at 1 p.m.
