RANGELY | The lady Panthers hosted the Vail Christian Saints on Friday. The Panthers opened up strong, creating a lot of turnovers and just struggled finishing around the basket. The Panthers came out with a win 40-23. Miah Wren led all scoring with 16, followed by Mary Scoggins with eight, Cantrell with four, Adelynn Halcomb is back in action this week contributing three points along with Ashlynn Ducey, Kastyn Dembowski, Miley Chism and Ryann Mergelman with two apiece. Kastyn led rebounding with eight, followed by Scoggins and Cantrell with seven each.
The Panthers have a big week ahead of them hosting Hayden on Thursday, traveling to DeBeque on Friday and hosting Soroco on Saturday. All three games are league games.
