You are hereby invited to bid for the construction of the Water Tank Drain Lines Project for the Town of Meeker. This project includes the construction or lining of approximately 680 linear feet of water line and the installation of appurtenant fittings. The project site is located at the north end of 7th Street to Pine Street. The Project Owner is the Town of Meeker. The Project Engineer is Chris Hale, P.E. of Mountain Cross Engineering, Inc. in Glenwood Springs.
A complete set of plans, specifications and contract documents may be obtained after April 8th, 2019 from the offices of Mountain Cross Engineering, Inc. (970-945-5544) or at the Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market Street. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market Street, on Wednesday, May 1st, 2019, at 10:30 a.m.
Bid Proposals shall be mailed or delivered to Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market Street, Meeker, CO 81641 by 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7th, 2019 at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. The Town Board of Trustees will award the bid on Tuesday May 21st, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 345 Market Street in Meeker. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a check in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to The Town of Meeker as bid security, along with 3 references for similar work. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The successful bidder must maintain workers compensation and general liability insurance in the amount of no less than $1,000,000 during the project.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids; to change, add, or amend the specifications; to waive any informalities; and the right to disregard all non-conforming or conditional bids or counter proposals. Each proposal shall be reviewed and considered consistent with the provisions of the Town of Meeker Purchasing Policy. All bids shall be sealed and “Meeker Water Tank Drain Lines Bid” written on the front of the envelope.

Notice is hereby given that a proposed 2019-2020 budget has been submitted to the Rangely Junior College District Board of Directors for the ensuing year of 2019-2020; a copy of such budget is on file at Linda Gordon/Budget Officer, 215 Hillcrest Avenue, Rangely, CO where same is open for public inspection; such budget will be considered at the regularly scheduled board meeting of the Rangely Junior College District to be held on May 13, 2019, Noon CNCC, Johnson Banquet Room for final adoption of 2019-2020 budget. Any interested elector of such Rangely Junior College District may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget.

2019 Rangely Airport Hayes Building Roof Project
INVITATION FOR BID
PROJECT NAME, LOCATION AND GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK
RBC 2019 Rangely Airport Hayes Building Roof Project. Work includes but is not limited to the complete installation of a new roofing membrane system on the RBC Rangely Airport Hayes Building in accordance with the Project’s Scope of Work including, State, and local building code requirements.
WORK SCHEDULE
This project shall start May 28, 2019 and be completed by August 30, 2019.
INVITATION FOR BID DOCUMENTS
Invitation for Bid Documents will be available on-line at https://co-rioblancocounty.civicplus.com/bids.aspx on the County’s website on the Bid Postings page, or at the Rio Blanco County Historic Courthouse. 555 Main Street, Meeker, Colorado 81641.

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING
Vendors must attend mandatory pre-bid meeting:
May 9, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Rio Blanco County Rangely Airport Hayes Building at 2248 E. Main St. Rangely, CO 81648.
BID SUBMITTALS
Bids shall have Contractor’s name and address and “SEALED BID RBC 2019 RANGELY AIRPORT HAYES BUILDING ROOF PROJECT” written on the sealed envelope. All required documents shall be included with the bid or it shall be rejected.
Mailed bids are due on Friday, May 17, 2019. Do not depend on overnight delivery.
Hand delivered bids will be accepted no later than 11:00 A.M. on May 20, 2019.

BID OPENING
Bids shall be opened and read in public at 11:15 A.M. on May 20, 2019 at the Commissioners’ Meeting Room, 1797 HWY 64 RBC Annex Building Rangely, Colorado 81641. Bids submitted after 11:00 A.M. will be returned not opened. Bids submitted and opened shall not be withdrawn for 30 days thereafter.
BID PREFERENCE
C.R.S. 8-19-101, et.seq, shall be observed on all construction contracts on public projects. The law states that when a construction contract for a public project is to be awarded to a bidder, a resident bidder shall be allowed preference against a nonresident bidder from another state equal to the preference given or required by the state in which the nonresident bidder is a resident.
BID AWARD
The Rio Blanco County Board of County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities in bids; and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interest of the County of Rio Blanco, State of Colorado.
