Dear Editor:
I attended Tuesday’s commissioner meeting with the intention to ask Commissioner Jeff Rector a question, but he wasn’t present. This is the question I was going to ask: “You stated you intend to resign when a replacement could be found. It is my understanding the committee cannot offer a replacement until your letter is in place. Seems like a catch-22, can you offer an explanation? The committee cannot go forward until your letter is in place.
