Letter: Annual golf tourney a success, thank you

We at the Xcel Energy Meeker office would like to thank all who participated in our Annual Hawaiian Luau Golf Tournament July 23. The tournament was a success with great weather and great fun. We had 40 players participate, who all went home with something. This was made possible by the great support we had from our sponsors: W.C. Striegel, WREA, Ducey Electric, Krule Construction, Valley Repair, Bill White Construction, Redi Services, Bolton Construction, First National Bank of the Rockies, JSC Inc. and Xcel Energy. We also received a donated raft trip and barbecue from Stage Stop, which was won by teeing off No. 1 to a circle in the fairway. This was a fun contest.
Special thanks to the Meeker Golf Course, Jimmy and Deb Cook and Lorette Sikes for their gracious hospitality. Also to Chippers Bar and Grill, Larin and Danielle, for their drink and meal services and helping serve Todd’s roasted pig.
