Letter: Epsilon Chi celebrates successful ESA bazaar

Dear Editor:

The Epsilon Chi Chapter of ESA would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our donors, helpers and volunteers at our annual Holiday Bazaar held on Nov. 11.

This Bazaar could not have happened without your help. Parkview Elementary has allowed us to use their facility for several years. We so appreciate their help. The Bank of the San Juans allows us to sit in on Halloween to sell tickets for St. Jude along with using their marquee. The Town of Rangely puts our information on their marquee also. We so appreciate the help of Janet Putney and Sarah Huff. The Lodging Tax Board always comes through with the money for us to advertise for this event. This is always needed and appreciated. Our special donors are: W.C. Striegel for their donation of the 65-inch flat screen TV; Paul Burgell for the donation of the rare natural emerald pendant; White River Market for the donation of our food; Kerri Knight for the donation to take care of all our other expenses; Kristi Boydston for donating those wonderful cakes—she does a fantastic job; Giovanni’s for donating the crackers and all of our vendors. We appreciate all of you. The winners of the drawings for St. Jude are as follows: $100 money shirt—Melissa Cords; emerald pendant—Brian Sisneros; 65-inch flat screen TV—Frank Tolley; fire pit from Rangely Hardware—René Harden; $60 gift card from EZ Auto—Heidi Yardley; $25 gift cards from Giovanni’s—Janet Putney and Sandra Rasmussen; Bank of the San Juans gift bag—Janice Porter; socket set from NAPA—Melissa Cords; $25 gift card from Sweetbriar—Becky Hume; $30 in hair care from The Salon—Melissa Cords; $50 gift card from Professional Touch—Tina Carstens; $40 gift card from Conoco—René Harden; $25 gift card from El Agave—Lonnie Yardley; amethyst gemstones by Tom Erickson—Tina Carstens; t-shirts and mugs from Urie Trucking—Janet Putney, Lenora Smuts, Anne Brady, Sandra Rasmussen (twice) and Tina Carstens. Thank you all so much for helping us raise $1,191 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
