Letter: Football stands will be painted for project

My name is Collin Cochran. I am currently a Life rank Scout trying to become an Eagle Scout. To become an Eagle Scout I must lead people in a community service project. My project is to paint the Meeker High School football stands. I have chosen this project because the project should be about something a Scout is passionate about, I am passionate about football and the stands are in much need of fixing up.
In order to complete this project, I need funding and volunteers willing to assist me. If you would like to donate money for materials, send all money to Meeker High School and put a note on the check that it goes to painting the stands. The high school will give you a tax deductible receipt. If you would like to donate your time, the project will be on May 8 and 9 and also on May 15 and 16. Work will begin at 8 a.m. each morning.
If you are coming to help, bring a paintbrush, rollers, or sandpaper. Please let me know you are coming so we can have plenty of food, 878-3568.
