Letter: Health fair glitch: some blood redraws

Dear Editor:
We would like to thank the 590 people who participated in the 9Health Fair on April 19. We had a great turnout for the health screenings, but, unfortunately, we did experience one problem.
One of the centrifuges from 9Health Fair became uncalibrated throughout the day. What this means is that approximately 85 of the health fair participates will need to have their blood redrawn.
If you are one of the 85, you will receive a letter from Qwest Diagnostic or 9Health Fair. You will need to come the Pioneers Medical Center lab anytime between May 1 and June 1 to receive that FREE blood redraw.
The lab will have all of your information. Just bring your letter with you and request a redraw.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we try to correct the
situation.
