As a lifelong journalist, I appreciate Jeff Burkhead’s self-revealing column on himself. Beneath the juicy personal information in which he accepts his consequences for the mistake of a lifetime, is the philosophy and goal of every community newspaper. He’ll serve this community with dignity and honor.
I’ve known Jeff for 25 years, and his talent and devotion to this craft are alive and well.
